Description of the painting by Julius Klever Thaw

The author wrote his picture of Thaw already at a mature age. At this time, the artist has already formed his own style, not like other academic landscapes. The works of this author enjoyed great popularity during his lifetime and do not cease to be popular today. They always leave a pleasant impression, please the contemplator with their colors and technique.

Looking at them, the public always has an understanding of how talented their creator was. All his creations are still very popular in the art markets. In his picture, the author was able to depict all the colors of the winter dawn. Although this picture depicts a difficult and cold season for people, but at the same time a person does not have any unpleasant emotions. It is as if he himself is on this snowy road and feels the winter frost. The main subject depicted in the picture was a huge tree, slowly coming to life after the end of the harsh winter. Against the background

of this tree, a very small old woman is depicted, pulling a bag over her shoulders.

It seems to be moving along a slightly thawed road along small houses located around it. In comparison with a big tall tree, an old woman looks absolutely tiny. A white snow blanket is still lying on the ground, but it is noticeable that in some places the snow is not so winter. Spring is coming, and the thaw begins. Soon nature will come to life and bloom with violent colors. The picture as if gives the viewer hope that all bad things will end soon, like this winter.
